Our friends Dale and Linda Limbaugh put together a big Texas sendoff in our home ward in Joshua. We had tons of fun along with friends, food, laughter, tears, songs and so longs. We miss all of you and think of you often. We are having a blast. See y'all soon.



Sumter District Stake Temple Day

At the MTC

Jane was nervous about going to the MTC, but when it was time to leave she and I both wanted to stay. We spent close to 2 weeks there. There were 41 mission couples on the first day. We were assigned to a district, the best district at the MTC that week! :) Our district included, Elder and Sister Weyland (District Leader), Elder and Sister Wright, Elder and Sister Westergard, and Elder and Sister Wakefield. We learned so much and had wonderful instructors. Dick loved the food!! We even had the priviledge of having Elder L. Tom Perry of the Quorum of the Twelve come and speak to us. It was such fun to be able to experience it together!

Our Mission Call

Jane and I were called to serve in the Columbia, South Carolina Mission in April of 2012! We are currently serving a Military Relations mission at Shaw Air Force Base in Sumter, South Carolina. We will be serving for one year. Our main responsibilities are serving the members of the church who are in the military. We are excited to be returning to the south and to serve in the same town where Jane and I met 21 years ago!

We hope our friends and family will visit our blog often to see our many adventures and experience a little bit of mission life with us!
